Synergistic Antioxidant Activity in Brazilian Propolis Extract Blends: An <i>in Vitro</i> Study

A simplex-lattice mixture design with response surface methodology was used to evaluate in vitro synergistic antioxidant activity of red, green, and brown Brazilian propolis extract blends. The capacity blends measured using the fluorine method oxygen radical absorption assay (ORAC assay). interaction identified between green extracts, predictive model accused a binary composed 59% 41% extracts increased about 54%. Our findings suggest possible reduction dosages these natural antioxidants their various potential applications, including health food, thereby proving be highly promising alternative for rational use valorization propolis.
